Brewing Steps

Prepare the Filter
Unfold the Chemex filter with three layers on the spout side. Rinse thoroughly with hot water and discard.

Add Coffee
Add 42g of medium-coarse ground coffee. Level the bed for even extraction.

Bloom
Pour 80g of water starting from the center. Allow to bloom for 45 seconds.

Continue Pouring
Pour remaining water in stages, keeping the slurry level constant. Total brew time: 4:00-4:30 minutes for 714g total water.
